WATCH: Postgame Interviews with Hopewell Pitchers Jake Knobloch and Ben McDonald

HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP– Often times, the offense in a game gets most of the credit but as the saying goes, “Offense wins games, Defense wins championships.”

The Vikings offense put up 12 runs today against Ambridge, but they wouldn’t have been in position to win and earn another trip to the playoffs with the efforts of two of their pitchers sophomore Ben McDonald and freshman Jake Knobloch.

After the game, Hopewell Sports Nation was able to speak with both those guys and got their reaction to one of the most exciting wins in their young careers.

Just a reminder, you have one last chance to see this team play at home, as tomorrow they’ll be in action against Quaker Valley.

This is a non-conference game and has no impact on the playoffs.
