More Updates On Hopewell Players Competing in AAU Basketball
Despite it not being ‘traditional basketball season’, a large group of athletes from Hopewell continue to put in the time and effort to improve their individual game.
As Hopewell Sports Nation reported a couple of weeks ago, these individual players are doing so on the AAU circuit with various teams.
Earlier tonight, we told you about the success this weekend of the Drill4Skill Team (Biega), but they aren’t the only ones doing well.
HSN wanted to recognize Jackson Yurcina, Callie Sadler, Sophia Cronin, Vanessa Kurta, Gia Yurcina and Rilynn Davis. They players are playing for both the Strick Hoops organization along with the Next Gen Elite team.
This weekend, these players are taking part in a tournament in Ohio.
Jackson Yurcina, who’s also busy playing Junior High Baseball, is on the Boys Strick Hoops team and they finished today 1-1.
Sadler, Cronin, Kurta, Yurcina and Davis are all playing in the 2024 Blue Storm Spring Thunder 5th Grade Grills Championship.
Davis and Sadler are on the Next Gen Elite Team, and they finished today with a record of 2-0. Gia Yurcina, Kurta and Cronin are on Strick Hoops and they went 1-1.
These players will continue tomorrow as they enter the elimination part of the bracket and HSN wants to wish them the best of luck!
