Hopewell Gymnastics Team Competes In Final Match of the Regular Season
The Hopewell High School Gymnastics team had their last regular meet of the season against North Allegheny and Burrell on Thursday, February 1st at Monaca Turners Gymnastics.
**Hopewell won a non-section meet against Burrell. The final team score was Hopewell – 129.65 / Burrell – 61.65.
Olivia Sedlacek: 1st Vault, 2nd Bars, 1st Beam, 1st Floor and 1st All-Around.
Alaina Kelly: 3rd Bars.
Emily Bauknight: 2nd Vault, 1st Beam and 3rd Floor.
Marina Pinchotti: 1st Bars and 3rd All-Around
Reece Jesko: 3rd Bars, 2nd Beam and 2nd Floor.
**Hopewell lost a non-section meet to North Allegheny. The final team score was Hopewell – 129.65 / North Allegheny – 136.8. No individual placing.
Hopewell gymnast: Sedlacek, Kelly, Bauknight and Pinchotti have qualified individually for the WPIAL Championships on 2/10 and PA Classic State Championship 2/17 held at Moon High School.
