Playoff Opponent and Date Announced for Hopewell HS Girls Basketball Team

This afternoon the WPIAL announced the schedule and seeding for the upcoming Boys and Girls Basketball playoffs.

Coach Jeff Homziak and his Girls Basketball team have qualified for the playoffs and have been placed as the No. 9 seed.

As the 9th seed, the Vikings will take on No. 8 Greensburg Salem and that game will take place on February 20th at Greensburg Salem High School. Tip-off will take place at 7 PM.

Here is the rest of the Class 4A Girls Bracket. The seeding for the other 3 teams in Hopewell’s section was: Blackhawk No. 1 seed, Central Valley No. 7 seed and Quaker Valley No. 12 seed.

The Hopewell girls wrap up the regular season tonight with Senior Night as they’ll take on Northgate in a non-section game. Tip-off from Hopewell High School is set for 6:30 pm.
