Recap of Hopewell Gymnastics Team Quad Meet Against CV, South Side and West Allegheny

The Hopewell Gymnastics team had a quad-meet Monday evening against Central Valley, South Side and West Allegheny at Monaca Turners Gymnastics.

It was also a special evening as Hopewell had the opportunity to recognize their Senior Olivia Sedlacek last night as well.

Hopewell won their third section meet of the season against South Side. The final team score was Hopewell – 131.25 / South Side – 86.10.

Senior Olivia Sedlacek: 1st on Vault, 2nd on Bars and 3rd on Floor

Junior Alaina Kelly: 1st on Beam
Sophomore Emily Bauknight: 2nd on Vault, 1st on Bars, 2nd on Beam and 2nd All-Around
Freshman Marina Pinchotti: 3rd on Vault, 1st on Bars, 3rd on Beam, 2nd on Floor and 1st All-Around.

**Hopewell lost a section meet to Central Valley. The final team score was Hopewell – 131.25 / Central Valley 136.75

Hopewell has their final non-section meet on the season on Thursday, February 1st vs. North Allegheny at Monaca Turners Gymnastics at 7PM. Sedlacek, Kelly, Bauknight and Pinchotti have qualified to the WPIAL Championship and PA Classic State Championship held at Moon High School in February.
