Hopewell Gymnastics Team Picks Up Another Win!
Congratulations to the members of the Hopewell Gymastics team for another successful meet!
The Lady Vikings won their second section meet of the season against Moon High School on Thursday. The final team score was Hopewell- 127.5/Moon- 89.5.
In terms of individual placement- Marina Pinchotti placed 2nd on Vault, 1st on Bars, 1st on Beam, 2nd on Floor and 1st All-Around. Awesome job Marina!!
Captain Emily Bauknight placed 3rd on Vault, 2nd on Bars, 2nd on Beam and 2nd All-Around. Stella Vallecorsa placed 3rd on Bars, 3rd on Floor and 3rd All-Around.
With this win, Hopewell’s section record moves to 2-0. Last week, they opened up section play with an exciting 128.75/126.1 win over Montour.
Following Christmas break, the Hopewell gymnastics team returns to action with a section home meet on Monday, December 30th at 7 PM vs. Chartiers Valley High School at Monaca Turners Gymnastics.
