π₯π₯ Hopewell 12U Navy Powers Past Rochester in Dominant 13-2 Seeding Game Victory! π₯π₯
Hopewell 12U Navy continued its strong start to seeding play Thursday night, exploding offensively and shutting things down defensively in a commanding 13-2 win over Rochester 12U Spring Softball 2026.
The victory improves Hopewell to 3-0 in season seeding play while evening the teamβs overall record at 3-3 on the season.
The Navy bats came alive early and never slowed down, while the pitching staff combined for an outstanding 13 strikeouts in the five-inning victory.
π₯ Madison Santamaria Delivered a Huge Night at the Plate π₯
Madison Santamaria led the offensive attack with a monster performance, driving in four runs on two doubles. She ripped an RBI double in the first inning, added another two-run double in the third, and capped off her night with a sacrifice fly in the fifth. Madison also played a strong defensive game behind the plate, handling 13 chances flawlessly.

π₯ First Inning Explosion Set the Tone π₯
Hopewell wasted no time taking control of the game in the opening inning. Madisonβs RBI double got things rolling before Tayla Schwartzmiller drew a bases-loaded walk to bring home another run. Sofia Cronin then crushed a three-run double to blow the game open and give Navy a quick 5-0 advantage.
β‘ Third Inning Broke the Game Wide Open β‘
The offense struck again in the third inning as Madison delivered another clutch two-run double down the left field line. Meier Swana followed with a two-run single to right field as Hopewell extended the lead and continued piling on the pressure.
π Every Player Contributed to the Offensive Attack π
Hopewell finished with eight hits and an incredible 13 walks, showing patience and discipline throughout the lineup.
πΉ Kaylin Michael reached base three times via walks and scored three runs.
πΉ Aubrey Majors collected a hit, drove in a run, and scored three times while also drawing two walks.
πΉ Meier Swana had a tremendous all-around game with two hits, three RBIs, and a run scored.
πΉ Tayla Schwartzmiller added an RBI, scored once, walked twice, and stole a base.
πΉ Sofia Cronin delivered a huge three-run double and finished with four RBIs.
πΉ Madison Marchitelli added a hit and scored a run.
πΉ Maisie Karwoski scored twice and stole two bases.
πΉ Erin Points added a run scored and worked a walk for the offense.
πΉ Ruby Fillo contributed on the bases with a stolen base while drawing a walk.

π₯ Dominant Pitching Performance π₯
Meier Swana was outstanding in the circle to start the game, tossing three scoreless innings while allowing just one hit and striking out eight batters. She controlled the game from the start and kept Rochester hitters off balance all night.
Aubrey Majors came on in relief and continued the strong pitching effort, striking out five over two innings to close out the victory.
Together, the Hopewell pitching staff allowed just four hits and combined for 13 strikeouts.

Hopewell once again played mistake-free softball, committing zero errors in the field and continuing to show strong defensive fundamentals throughout the lineup.
