The Hopewell Junior High Vikings offense was simply electric on Tuesday, putting together their most complete performance of the season in a 17-10 victory over Montour Middle School. With it only being the second game of the season this lineup delivered—racking up 13 hits, showing patience at the plate, and creating constant pressure on the basepaths.
This was not just a good offensive showing… it was relentless.
💥 Offensive Explosion from Every Spot in the Lineup
Leading the charge was Sam Holsinger, who had a perfect day at the plate—going 3-for-3 with two doubles, a single, three runs scored, and two walks. She set the tone early and never let up.
Right behind her, Brooke Otto turned in a huge performance, collecting two hits, three runs scored, an RBI, and a walk, consistently finding ways to get on and create chaos.
Madison Santamaria was electric in the middle of the order, crossing the plate four times while adding two hits and two RBIs, showing just how dangerous the Vikings are when traffic builds on the bases.
Alyssa Phillips delivered in key moments, finishing with two hits, two RBIs, and two walks, while Rilynn Davis made her presence felt with two hits and a team-high four RBIs, driving in runs in big situations.
The production didn’t stop there.
- Adelynn Gray added two hits, three runs scored, an RBI, and two walks, continuing the lineup’s depth
- Lily Cain worked tough at-bats and reached base twice via walks while also scoring

Madison Santamaria came on in relief and delivered a strong outing, tossing 4.2 innings while allowing just one earned run and striking out eight. Her ability to miss bats and work through traffic proved critical in securing the win.
While the scoreboard showed more runs, the defense battled throughout, and the pitching staff stayed focused—limiting Montour to just two earned runs combined.
