Ladies Hopewell Soccer Club Fantastic Spring Season!

What a tremendous season for the Hopewell Soccer Club U10G travel team. They finished their 8 game Spring season with a 6-1-1 record
Kicking off their very first outdoor season this Fall with a 4–4 record, this group of young ladies showed early promise as they mastered the basics of the game together. They then embraced the fast‑paced world of indoor turf and winter drills—complete with inventive cartwheel throw‑ins—only to return in spring with a dazzling display of selfless passing and nearly every player finding the back of the net. Fueled by hard work, laughter, and unwavering support from Coach Moyer, families, and their final celebratory moment at Bruster’s Real Ice Cream of Hopewell, these Vikings proved that growth and camaraderie are the ultimate victories.
Coach Chuck Costlow had this to say about his group of girls: These young ladies have learned so much from this past fall in their first season playing outdoor together and finishing with a 4-4 record. Then dealt with the challenges of playing in a super competitive indoor league on turf for two sessions (many playing indoor and on turf for the first time) and working on their skills at indoor practices sessions during the winter months when we could find a place to practice
All of this worked payed off in this Spring season with selfless play, give n go passing, cartwheel throw ins, and passing to the point that coach Danielle Moyer and I had to politely ask them to start shooting the ball once it was inside the goal box.
All of the girls contributed one way or another and almost everyone on the team scored at least one goal this season
A huge thank you to my assistant coach Danielle Moyer and to parents and their families for cheering on this group of amazing young ladies
We celebrated the season with ice cream from the Bruster’s Real Ice Cream (Hopewell) and also handed out some awesome individual awards. Go Vikings!
