πŸ€πŸ”₯ Hopewell 5th Grade Travel Controls Central Valley in a 31–13 Victory β€” Plus Big Wins for 4th & 6th Grade! πŸ†πŸ’™

The Hopewell 5th Grade Travel basketball team put together a complete team performance Thursday night, leading from start to finish in a dominant 31–13 victory over Central Valley at Hopewell Memorial Junior High School.

Hopewell wasted no time setting the tone, opening the game on an 11-point run and overwhelming Central Valley with pressure defense and crisp ball movement. The Vikings held a 15–7 halftime lead, limiting Central Valley’s offensive chances while controlling the pace of the game.

After Central Valley briefly made things interesting, cutting into the lead early in the second half, Hopewell responded with a 12–2 run to put the game firmly out of reach. The Vikings never trailed and closed out the win with discipline, energy, and teamwork on both ends of the floor.

Ball movement was a key to the victory. Hopewell recorded 14 assists on 15 made baskets, showing unselfish play and great awareness. The Vikings also tallied five assists in the first quarter alone, helping them jump out to their early advantage.

Sean Bain led all scorers with 10 points, while Landyn DelliCarpini dominated the glass with 12 rebounds and added strong two-way play. Cooper Biller orchestrated the offense, handing out five assists and applying pressure defensively.
