HSN Celebrates Mayday and Provides First Ever Athletic Scholarship!
Hopewell Sports Nation was extremely excited to be welcomed into the Hopewell High Schools Mayday Celebration this year! It is only our first year in operation as we are coming up on our one year anniversary this July.
We couldn’t be happier with our progress this year and our successes are due to extremely supportive sponsors, donations and fundraisers which allow us to be able to present our First Annual Hopewell Sports Nation Scholarships to two absolutely deserving student athletes, Emmet McCowin and Mya Parish.
Both of these students exceeded the expectations of our scholarship requirements proving themselves in the classroom, on the field and in their community.
Both of their Varsity teams made it to the playoffs this year and it’s a testament to their hard work and dedication to their sport and teams.
HSN wishes them the best of luck as they move on to college and to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level, we WILL be checking in on both of them from time to time with a collegiate sport update!
