Hopewell Elementary’s Class of 2033 Hosts March Madness Bracket Pool Fundraiser

According to Jennifer Pavlisko, “The Hopewell Elementary Class of 2033 is hosting a March Madness Bracket Pool to Raise funds for their 4th grade Send-off at the end of the school year. Hopewell Elementary students are working hard to make this a fun and memorable event, and they would love the community’s support!”

How The Bracket Pool Works:

A Block Pool will be set up with numbers 0-9 randomly assigned across the top and side. These numbers represent the last digits of each team’s final score in a given game.

• Each square costs $25, and names will be randomly placed within 100 squares. Participants must provide their first and last name, phone number, and email for contact purposes.
• The winner of each game is determined by where the last digits of the winning and losing team’s scores intersect on the grid.

How The Payout Works:

A total of $1,500 in prize money will be distributed among 63 winners throughout the tournament:

Round 1 (March 20-21): 32 winners receive $15 each (Total: $480)

Round 2 (March 22-23): 16 winners receive $25 each (Total: $400)

Round 3 (March 27-28): 8 winners receive $30 each (Total: $240)

Round 4 (March 29-30): 4 winners receive $40 each (Total: $160)

Round 5 (April 5): 2 winners receive $60 each (Total: $120)

Championship Game (April 7): 1 winner receives $100

How to Participate:

Payments can be made via Venmo (@Amy-Sutton-46, last four digits: 2612). Be sure to include your name and phone number for winner notifications.

Cash and checks are also accepted, made payable to Hopewell Elementary PTA. These can be sent to the school in an envelope labeled “4GSO March Madness Fundraiser.”

***The 100 squares will be randomly assigned once all spots are filled.***

Important Dates:

Fundraiser Runs: March 5 – March 15

Selection Sunday: March 16

First Round: March 20-21

Second Round: March 22-23

Sweet 16: March 27-28

Elite Eight: March 29-30

Final Four: April 5

Championship Game: April 7

***Winners will be paid at the conclusion of March Madness.***
