Hopewell Football Looking to Fill Assistant Coach Positions Tonight

Earlier this month, John Rosa was hired as Hopewell High School’s new football coach.

Rosa has yet to officially add any assistant coaches but that could be changing tonight.

The Hopewell School Board has a general meeting tonight and nine names will be submitted to them for approval to become part of Rosa’s coaching staff.

The nine names that will be voted on are:
-Matt Mottes
-Zachary Rosa
-Tim Morgan
-Guy Martini
-Jon Baldwin
-Tom Pipkins
-Reiker Welling
-Craedel Kimbrough
-Paul Mann

A few of these names are familiar to Hopewell. Mann was an assistant last year on both the high school and junior high teams. Baldwin was Hopewell’s defensive coordinator last year under Matt Weiss. Kimbrough was the defensive coordinator for Craig Bokor’s junior high team and works with a lot of Hopewell athletes at his fitness facility. Pipkins is more known for basketball, as he was a WPIAL all-time great and later went on to star at Duquesne.
