Hopewell Sports Nation Celebrates Our 1-Year Anniversary!
It’s hard to believe and it surely wasn’t easy but today, Hopewell Sports Nation celebrates our 1-year anniversary!!
Wow, wow, wow.
Where should I begin. I’m not going to blabber on too long but there are a few things that I’d like to mention.
First and foremost, a huge thank you to the community of Hopewell and all of our readers for supporting us. When HSN started, privately I wondered if anyone would read what we did and over the last year, we received the answer to that question.
In our first year, HSN published 931 stories that attracted over 194,000 viewers. To me, that was a pleasant surprise and once again, Thank You Hopewell.
Speaking of support, HSN wouldn’t be celebrating an anniversary today without the support of our sponsors. Over the last year these business supporters have been the ones to make it possible for us to continue to cover all the exciting happenings in Hopewell Township. We will always encourage our viewers to support our local businesses!

A big shoutout to my partner with HSN, Carl Santamaria. Like with sponsors and community support, without Carl’s help in many different areas, we wouldn’t be here today. Because we both have full-time jobs, this hasn’t been easy but whenever something needed to get done, a call made, an e-mail sent or a story written, Carl found time to get it done.
Just want to close by saying, my sole purpose from day one with the idea of Hopewell Sports Nation was to highlight the Hopewell athletes, sports teams and all the good things happening in Hopewell. Because of the change in the media today and the near death of the newspapers, events and athletes that were once covered, simply don’t get any attention today.
I wanted Hopewell Sports Nation to change that and although we haven’t covered and highlighted everything, I 100% believe that we’ve made an impact and put the spotlight back on our much-deserved athletes and coaches.
Some of the highlights of the past year and events that would have gone largely ignored without the existence of HSN were:
*Hopewell’s Isaiah Pisano Winning the WPIAL AA 160-Pound Wrestling Championship.
