Hopewell’s Coffee Shop ‘A’Brewed Awakening’ Changing Hours, Opening Earlier

A key component of being a successful business owner is listening to your customers and having the willingness to be flexible.

Hopewell business owner Barb Reibsome Michna is certainly that and it’s one of the reasons why she’s had success.

Barb is the owner of Hopewell coffee shop A’Brewed Awakening and she’s making some changes, ones that she’s been thinking about for a while.

Currently, A’Brewed Awakening (2236 Broadhead) opens at 6:30 AM but that’s going to be changing. Starting on March 4th, you’ll be able to get your coffee there starting at 5 AM. An hour and a half earlier.

“It was in the back of my mind since initially opening,” Michna tells HSN. “But a couple things pushed me over the edge, mainly customers saying, “if you opened earlier, I would come here instead of going to another business. We will see how it goes. It’s a trial change.”

That’s not the only new thing happening with A’Brewed Awakening.

“We are also starting “coffee cart” catering for weddings, meetings, showers, or any event. We’ll provide drip coffee, teas and desserts (scones, muffins, cookies and crepes) preselected for your event. Also, eventually espresso lattes,” said Michna.
