Some News Regarding the Hopewell Football Boosters and Hopewell Quarterback Club
As you’ve probably heard, our new coach is John Rosa. Along with Coach Rosa’s extensive background in football and athletics, he is an alumnus of Hopewell, and we welcome him back to Viking territory!
One of Coach Rosa’s goals was to bring back the Hopewell Quarterback Club. For those not familiar with the Quarterback Club, it is made up of mostly alumni and community members who want to help give back to the Viking football program. They are entirely separate from the Hopewell Football Boosters. If you would like to learn more about them or follow their page, it can be found here – Hopewell QB Club.
The Hopewell Football Boosters is made up of the parents/guardians of current players on the junior high and high school teams. If you have a player, you are automatically part of the boosters. So, two separate organizations will be here to support our team!
The Hopewell Football Boosters originally requested nominations for president, secretary, and fundraising coordinator a couple of months back but did not receive any nominations. The existing president, Nathan Muzy, ran unopposed and will continue to hold the position in 2024. The two open positions that remain are secretary and fundraising coordinator. Please let us know by 2/2/24 if you are interested in either of these positions by emailing [email protected]. Once we have the nominees, we will send out voting instructions.
We are looking forward to the 2024 season and hope to see a lot of parent/guardian involvement to make it a success!
