Hopewell Girls Volleyball Pulls Out 5-Set Win Over Avonworth
Last night the Hopewell girls volleyball team took on a tough section opponent in Avonworth.
The highlight of the evening was Hopewell’s annual Pink Out Game in which they raised money for breast cancer.
With the stands packed and drum line and cheerleaders in attendance, the match went all the way to 5 sets with the Vikings coming out on top.
The Lady Vikings improved their overall record to 10-1 and 8-1 in the section.
Some key players in the win were senior captain OH Jordan Sirianni, senior MH Alyssa Spang, senior Libero Philomena Catanzarite and junior Setter Bella Ceccarelli.

-Addison Davis with an amazing dig, heads to Hopewell’s first point. Hopewell 1-0

The girls played amazing and never gave up going all the way into the 5th set.
The girls have a HUGE upcoming match on Monday as they travel to first place Quaker Valley. If the Vikings can win, they’ll tie Quaker Valley for first place and be in place for a possible secretion championship.
