First Day of Hopewell Mad Skillz Youth Soccer Camp

Hopewell Township– The future soccer players for Hopewell were on the turf at Tony Dorsett Stadium this morning for Day One of the Mad Skillz Youth Soccer Camp.

This is a three-day camp for Hopewell School District students entering K-6th grade.

This is a neat camp for both the kids and the instructors, which are members of the Hopewell Girls Soccer team. Not only do the kids benefit by learning from and getting to know players on the high school team. It’s also a good opportunity for the girls on the soccer team to pass along their knowledge to kids that one day hope to also be playing high school soccer team.

The camp went form 9:30 AM until Noon, with plenty of water breaks to hydrate along with a popsicle at the end of the workout.

HSN was there to get some pictures, video and to talk with two of the high school instructors, junior Allison Ramaley and freshman Harley Hample.
