RACOON TOWNSHIP– If Hopewell is going to have any chance of winning the 2024 Western Pa. Pony League Championship, they’ll need to get outstanding pitching.

In tonight’s opener against Central Valley, Hopewell got that in the form of left-hander James Armstrong.

Armstrong threw a complete game, going 7 innings, allowing only 3 hits, 1 run and striking out 11 Central Valley hitters in a Hopewell 2-1 victory.
