Hopewell Football’s James Armstrong and Brody Rock Invited to Elite Local Prospects Camp
June and July are months in which high school players that have hopes to one day playing college are looking to get noticed by college programs.
The best way to do that, especially for younger players, is to attend prospect camps where they can be viewed by coaches, scouts and recruiting analysts.
One of, if not the premier camp in Pennsylvania, is one hosted by the legendary Dee Brown and his 2Tenths Speed and Agility organization. Many former WPIAL stars and current NFL players such as Aaron Donald, Tyler Boyd, Miles Sanders, Damar Hamlin, Jaquan Brisker, Dane Jackson, etc. have been a part of this premier organization.
When Brown and 2Tenths have their eye on you and believe you have talent, that’s a really good thing and two Hopewell football players got some exciting news.
Hopewell 9th graders James Armstrong and Brody Rock have received invitations to attend the yearly 2 Tenths Top 150 Camp on July 14th.
Thank you @210ths @7Twice for the top 150 camp invite! @HopewellSNation @WPIAL_Insider @wpialsportsnews @PA_TodaySports @HopewellVikesFB pic.twitter.com/9rjriawNc2

This is an invitation only camp and will be attended by some of the top talent in the WPIAL, with many of the players going on to play D-1 football.
Along with having premiere talent, this camp will be viewed by media members such as Karl Ludwig (Pittsburgh Sports Now), Ed O’Brien (247 Sports), Chris Peak (Panther Lair.com), Brian Linder (Penn Live), Adam Friedman (National Scout for Rivals.com), Brian Dohn (National Scout for 247 Sports), Ryan Snyder (On3 Sports), KDKA-TV, Prospects Media, WPIAL Insider and WPIAL Sportsman.
This will no doubt be a great opportunity for Armstrong and Rock to display their talent to many different people and become nationally known. Brown has many contacts in the recruiting world and also will be able to pass along useful information to them.
Armstrong will enter this season battling for the starting quarterback job with the Vikings, while Rock will have the opportunity to earn time at running back as well as on defense.
