Andrew Winiarski Connects Hopewell Sports to Organization w/ AED’s

After Covid and the incident with Damar Hamlin from the Buffalo Bills, the need for an AED and specialized training became a major concern for local sports around the Country. We suddenly became aware that heart guards might not be enough to protect our athletes in case of a cardiac event and in order to be responsible club managers we had to do more.
Andrew Winiarski has played a vital role in helping the Hopewell Soccer Club secure an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) for their facility. He also helped the youth baseball organization to secure an AED and with the release of this article the youth softball program here in Hopewell as well. Andrew took the initiative and contacted a foundation that he works with to see if they could support the needs of our town. This is an amazing gift to all of our youth organizations to have these machines available in the event of an emergency.
It was Andrew and his willingness to volunteer his time with many organizations and to lead this great cause to have life saving medical equipment available for the clubs.
In a message from Andrew Winiarski and the Hopewell Soccer Club he wanted to send a huge THANK YOU to the DP Foundation (https://danielphelpsfoundation.org) for the donation of an AED for the club. Having this is such an amazing thing for the club and having it donated at zero cost to us is something we are extremely thankful for. While we hope we never have to use it, we are glad we are now equipped for any cardiac related emergencies!
