Hopewell Youth Cheerleading is Going to Disney!!!

Our Hopewell Youth Football League Cheer squads extended season began immediately after football season. You probably noticed the fundraising efforts all around Hopewell. The teams are gearing up for a huge trip to Florida for another chance to compete Nationally!

Cheerleaders from each competition squad have the opportunity to opt into extended season with their teams. Coaches then evaluate their team, utilize crossovers, and update their routines to fit all-star competition stages.

All 5 teams attended the CHEERSPORT Pittsburgh Classic.

Kindergarten – a.k.a – Mini Divas – 6U – Traditional Rec – Level 1
Twerps – a.k.a. – Shooting Stars – 8U – Traditional Rec – Level 1
Termites – a.k.a. Blue Storm – 10U – Traditional Rec – Level 1
Mighty Mites – a.k.a. – Beauties in Beast Mode – 12U – Traditional Rec – Level 2
Midgets – a.k.a. Diamonds in the Rough – 14U – Traditional Rec – Level 3

All 5 squads took first in their division. This resulted in qualifying bids to The QUEST Recreational Championships in March at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort®, Florida for Shooting Stars, Blue Storm, Beauties in Beast Mode, and Diamonds in the Rough.

Beauties in Beast Mode are the 2025 Bronze Bid Recipients! A Bronze Bid is a partial paid bid that discounts registration 25% off the participant package. These bids are awarded to the highest scoring bid eligible teams in Performance/Traditional Recreational divisions across different levels in Affiliated/Non-Affiliated.

Shooting Stars and Blue Storm are preparing for another competition before Disney at the Aloha Pittsburgh Showdown at RMU in Feb.
Mini Divas are preparing for Winter Rec Nationals in Erie in January.

Hello Hopewell! While I am not originally a Hopewell native, it has been my home for over 12 years. My wife and I have three beautiful children that all play Hopewell sports including baseball and softball. My wife and I are both active in coaching our Children's teams.
