Hopewell Gymnastics Earn Section Win Over Montour

A big congratulations to the Hopewell High School Gymnastics team for an impressive section performance.

The Vikings won their first section meet of the season against Montour on Tuesday in a closely contest match. The final team score was Hopewell- 128.75/Montour 126.1.

The Hopewell High School Gymnastics team consists of 5 gymnast this year: Junior Emily Bauknight, Sophomores Stella Vallecorsa, Marina Pinchotti, Reese Jesko and Freshman Lia Eberhardt.

Eberhardt placed 1st on Vault, Reece Jesko placed 2nd on Bars, 3rd on Beam, 2nd on Floor and 2nd All-Around, Marina Pinchotti placed 2nd on Beam, 3rd on Floor and 3rd All-Around.

Hopewell has their first home meet of the season on Thursday, December 19th vs. Moon High School at 7 PM at their home site at Monaca Turners Gymnastics.
