A young 14u team with potential to grow from here the 14U Badgers have are a Tough fighting group of kids.

The Badgers started off strong with a score of 2-0 by the second period. Gavin Narad had 2 goals and 9th grader Ray McDowell put in goal to take team 3-0

The Badgers mounted a solid defense lead by 8th grader Aiden Ritchart with shut out, facing 23 saves. These are impressive stats for Aiden coming off a five week period injured with a broken hand and this only being his 3rd game back.

The final score was 3-0 with the Beaver county Badgers closing out a solid game.

In two weeks the team heads to Buffalo for their first tournament of the season.

Hello Hopewell! While I am not originally a Hopewell native, it has been my home for over 12 years. My wife and I have three beautiful children that all play Hopewell sports including baseball and softball. My wife and I are both active in coaching our Children's teams. I am a member of the Hopewell Youth Baseball Board of Directors and you will probably see me out at the fields at least a few days a week. Most recently coaching my youngest sons TBALL team.
