Match Details of Hopewell’s 1st Round Playoff Win over McGuffey

HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP- Last night, the Hopewell Girls Volleyball team won their first match of the 2024 WPIAL Playoffs.
They faced off against the 14th seed McGuffey Highlanders and took them to 4 sets winning
3-1.

It was an amazing team win, highlighted by some key performances from some key
players. Those performances were from, Senior MH Alyssa Spang, Senior Captain OH Jordan
Sirianni, Senior L Mena Catanzarite, Junior OH Bri Inderelst, and Junior DS Addison Davis.

Set 1 25-21 McGuffey wins

As stated before, the girls are moving on in the bracket!! They will play Avonworth in the
quarterfinal round. A tough section rematch that will be an amazing game! That game is
scheduled on Saturday, 10/26, at Hopewell High School, at 12:00 P.M.
