HOPEWELL TWP- Winning is Fun!

The No. 3 seed Hopewell Vikings Girls volleyball team started their quest for what they hope ends in a WPIAL Championship.

Tonight, the Lady Vikings hosted No. 14 seed McGuffey in a 1st round playoff match.

Things started a bit slow for Hopewell as McGuffey won the first set 25-21 but like good teams do, Hopewell rebounded and won the next 3 sets, 25-18, 25-18 and 25-17.

Hopewell now advances to take on Avonworth this Saturday in the WPIAL quarterfinals. A time and location for that match hasn’t been released yet.
