Hopewell Coaches Pitch (Team Holsinger) Defeats Ambridge, 11-5

A nice win for one of Hopewell’s Coaches Pitch teams as Team Holsinger’s squad defeated Ambridge, 11-5.

Mason Thumm paced the way for the Hopewell Scream with 3 hits and 4 RBI! Thumm’s big hits came in the 1st running (RBI 2B), in the 3rd (RBI single) and in the 5th (2 run single).

The Hopewell scream scored 4 runs in the 3rd innings with RBI singles from Thumm, Gage Powell, August Arostegui and Mitchell Hodnicki.

For the game, Hopewell was able to bang out 21 hits with Obie DeCanio going 4-for-4, while Adley Faust, Blake Kosta, August Arostegui, Gage Powell and Mitchell Hodnicki each having multiple hits.

Congrats to Coach Holsinger’s Team Scream for the win and they’ll be back in action on Monday night at the Kane Road Complex!
