Hopewell Girls Volleyball Now Ranked Following Win over Northgate

Congratulations to the Hopewell Girls Volleyball team for a couple things.

First of all, the Lady Vikings went on the road Thursday and defeated Northgate convincingly 3 sets to none. No. 2, Terry Borkovic’s team is now ranked No. 5 in WPIAL Class AA.

Looking back at Thursday night’s victory, Hopewell (2-2) won the 1st set 25-6, the second set 25-7 and the third set 25-7.

Congrats to the Hopewell junior varsity team for also winning 3 sets to zero. That becomes their second win of the season!

Next match will be a challenge as Hopewell travels to Avonworth on Tuesday. Avonworth is the No. 1 ranked team in Class AA.
