HW Softball 10u Gold Sails past Riverside

May 20th- HW @ Riverside

On a scorching hot night for softball the HW 10u Gold team was on fire on the mound and at the plate!

Out to an early lead in the first HW went up three in the first and tacked on another three in the second for a 6-0 lead. With a total of 11 hits on the night HW came away with a 14-2 Victory.

Offensively, HW had 6 of its 9 batters record a hit. Aubrey Majors and Meier Swana both had three hits followed by Madison Santamaria with 2. Madison’s double drove in three RBI’s and she had 6 on the night. Gracie Dunning and Gia Bertoni each drove in an RBI and Jania Zito and Madison Marchitelli both drove base hits tonight as well adding to the teams production.

HW was lights out on the mound with Aubrey Majors throwing two innings with one hit and four strike outs. Gracie Dunning came in to relieve Aubrey and threw two scoreless innings as well, giving up one hit and striking out three batters.
