Recap of Hopewell HS Swim Meet vs. Mars
The Hopewell Vikings High School swim team had a spectacular meet against Mars on Tuesday night.
The Viking team spirit was at an all-time high. The athletes were pumped! It really helped the swimmers put up some awesome times!
Some exciting news came from the meet as Hopewell had lots of best times along with MAC and WPIAL cuts!
Joey Gregory got his cut in the 200 Free and Lindsey Brown got her cut in the 100 Fly. Our boys have been chasing the 200 Free Relay cut all season and Connor Progar, Aiden Trunick, Emmet McCowin, and Joey Gregory earned their qualification! That swim captivated everyone!
The following swimmers all posted best times: Emma Driscoll (50 Back, 100 Free), Hazel McCowin (200 Free), Joey Gregory (200 Free, 100 Free), Mitchell Ryan (200 IM), Joel Olshanski (50 Free), Joey McCullough (50 Free), Matt Fritz (50 Free), Lindsey Brown (100 Fly), Troy Palochak (100 Fly), Jacob Zupsic (100 Free), Owen Levinger (500 Free), Charles Houston (100 Breast).
The Hopewell swimmers will be back at it tomorrow as they have a meet against Quaker Valley.
