Hopewell Coaches Bring on the Fun after Championship Victory!!!

It’s not always about winning the Championships in Hopewell, but when we do the accolades are much more then a trophy!!! The players of the Hopewell 10U baseball team upped the Ante in this weekends Ambridge All Star Tournament, with a friendly wager with the Hopewell Coaches (Dave Gigliotti, Brian Mancos, Russ Seech and Bobby Dunn). The kids came away with a tournament win against a strong Quaker Valley Team tacking on runs late in the game to pull away with a 6-1 Victory.

The Wager was simple, Win and Buzz one Coaches Head (Brian Mancos), the other two coaches would gracefully accept a whip cream pie in the face, Lose and the kiddos got their Summer Crew Cuts.

The Coaches were happy to provide the awards to the children last night, CONGRATULATIONS TO THE HOPEWELL 10U TEAM!!!

Hello Hopewell! While I am not originally a Hopewell native, it has been my home for over 12 years. My wife and I have three beautiful children that all play Hopewell sports including baseball and softball. My wife and I are both active in coaching our Children's teams. I am a member of the Hopewell Youth Baseball Board of Directors and you will probably see me out at the fields at least a few days a week. Most recently coaching my youngest sons TBALL team.
