3 Hopewell Youth Baseball Kids Compete for STM!

Finally a day that everyone could get outside this weekend that really made it feel like Spring!
The rain finally let up and kids from all over Hopewell were out competing in a multitude of sports. If I could cover them all I would but here is a quick shoutout to a group of three Hopewell Youth Baseball kids that brought their A game this weekend and had some fun. Three of the Hopewell boys baseball players competed on their travel ball team for STM- Steel Town Maulers 11u and came in 2nd place.
Highlights:
The boys played 5 games in total. Connor Eiler smashed a 3 run homer. This wasn’t just any home run it was Connor’s first home run and we are sure there will be more to come! Connor and Gannon McNally pitched well over four innings and Reagan Haring caught all but three of those innings. Reagan’s success story is also the amazing come back after a six month long injury, now better and back on the field, congratulations Reagan we are glad you’re back and ready to compete! The team was able to put together the wins at the right time in the double elimination tournament to make their way to the Championships game!
