Tonight’s Meet

The Boys and girls both had a tough match against Quaker Valley at home. The races were tight, and the times were very close however, the boys managed to push through and come up victorious. Girls put up a good fight, and although they did not win, some posted their best times.

Coaches Comments:

Our head coach, Kathi Lopez, has a few comments about the season and the amazing performance our swimmers put on at Monday’s competition. She said, “Overall, I am overjoyed about the season, our time improvements have come in ebbs and flows. However, we have come very far from the beginning of the season, with most of the team qualifying for the MAC competition and WPIALS. I think yesterday was a good meet for team spirit and bonding! We have good competition with people posting best times, although not being in the water for a while.”

Assistant Coach Barb Marnhout said, ” Every single swimmer on this team has improved this year, we have seen a lot of techniques improving, which has subsequently caused times to improve as well.”

Important Upcoming Dates:

MAC Championship: February 15th, 2025

WPIAL Championship: February 27th & 28th, 2025
