UPDATE: 1ST SESSION VARSITY SOFTBALL CLINIC THIS SATURDAY JANUARY 18TH FROM 12:30 – 2:30, SAME DAY WALK-INS/SIGN UPS WELCOME!!!

Most Varsity teams find a way to give back to the community by hosting clinics where younger age groups coming up through the ranks who will eventually be the new Varsity starters get a chance to practice drills with the older high school students. It’s a great way to build a feeder program that consistently develops young talent in a school district, especially one as small as Hopewell’s.

Hopewell Sports Nation sat down with Varsity Softball Coach Ronda Koblek to discuss their upcoming Varsity Softball Clinic, what it means to the team and to the next generation of Softball players.

Ronda Koblek-

“The Hopewell High School annual softball clinic has been a fantastic platform for the high school girls to connect with future ball players of Hopewell High School. It also fosters a sense of comfort and familiarity among the younger players with the high school coaching staff. I firmly believe that the unity of Hopewell softball has never been stronger, and the clinic is a significant reason to celebrate this.

Since I took over as the high school coach, the program has experienced remarkable growth. In just six years, it has expanded from 11 players to 26. I attribute this success to the strong bonds that have been established between the high school and our youth programs.

Furthermore, the clinic fundraiser not only benefits the high school players but also helps reduce their season expenses. The players eagerly anticipate these clinics, and the coaches thoroughly enjoy working with the future softball players of Hopewell.”

Two sessions: Saturday, Jan 18, and Saturday, Feb 15th.

$40 per session or $70 for 2 sessions!

Hello Hopewell! While I am not originally a Hopewell native, it has been my home for over 12 years. My wife and I have three beautiful children that all play Hopewell sports including baseball and softball. My wife and I are both active in coaching our Children's teams.
