Congrats to Hopewell’s Emma Palmieri and Luca Flitcraft!

More good things are happening in Hopewell Athletics!

This morning, the 2024 WPIAL Cross Country Championships were held at White Oak Park and a couple Hopewell Vikings stood out.

Emma Palmieri and Luca Flitcraft ran well enough to earn medals and qualify for the PIAA Cross Country Championships.

Emma was 10th overall out of 184 runners in the AA race. Her time of 19:57.40 was her best of the season. This is her second trip to state for XC – she also qualified last year

Luca was 28th out of 216 boys in AA. His time was 17:04.90. This is his first trip to states.
