7-Year Olds with Big 14-9 Win Over Avonworth, Start Moon Tournament 2-0

The Hopewell 7-Year-Old All-Stars banged out 25 hits this afternoon enroute to an impressive 14-9 win over Avonworth.
Earlier today in their first game of the Moon Township Rookie Rumble Tournament, this team collected 20 hits in their 12-8 win over Central Valley.
The Vikings bats were as hot as the weather.

The duo of Grayden McNally and August Arostegui led the way for the Vikings as they collected 4 hits apiece. In today’s first game, McNalley and Arostegui both had 3 hits.
A shout out to McNally, who’s about the nicest kid you’ll ever meet. In his first five All-Star games this season, Grayden is an impressive 16 for 18 at the plate!!
Back to other Hopewell standouts from today’s game against Avonworth. Hudson Lavia recorded 3 hits, while Max Holsinger, Trent Michael, Colton Eiler, Declan Rinaldi, Obie DeCanio and Kellen Haring all recorded 2 hits.
RBI getters for Hopewell were Arostegui (3), McNally (3), DeCanio and Brody Tournay knocked in two runs apiece. Other RBI getters included Holsinger (1), Michael (1), Haring (1) and Hudson Lavia (1).
