7-Year Old All-Stars Open Up Play Today in the Moon Twp Rookie Rumble Tournament
The Hopewell 7-year-olds opened up another weekend of tournament play this morning in the Moon Township Rookie Rumble Tournament.
The young Vikings two opponents on Saturday would be Central Valley and Avonworth.
GAME ONE VS. CENTRAL VALLEY:
In Game One, Hopewell started off strong both offensively and defensively and came away with a 12-8 win (5 innings).
The key to the game was Hopewell coming out strong offensively with 9 runs in the first two innings, while holding the Warriors to just 4 runs total in the first four innings.
