Welcome HSN’s Newest Writer, Hopewell Freshman Emma Majewicz
Hopewell Sports Nation is excited to introduce an addition to our team with the hiring of Emma Majewicz.
Emma is currently a freshman at Hopewell High School.
Thanks to the generosity of you our readers with donations to HSN, we were in a position to bring Emma aboard.
Emma has a passion for writing, wants to possibly make a career of it, so we felt as though she’d be a perfect addition to HSN.
Here’s Emma with a short introduction of herself.
“I’m 14 years old, and a freshman at Hopewell High School. I’m a varsity cheerleader and in my free time, I like to go shopping, write, hang out with my friends and family, and go on walks/runs. I love helping people as much as I can, and love volunteering. Cheer is something I’m very passionate about and I love being able to do it with some of my best friends.
What has helped me become a writer is taking journalism this year, it’s my favorite class. Mr. Mourbacher has taught me a lot about writing and has shown me a lot of other skills like photography. I enjoy writing about soccer and cheerleading, but have also written about basketball and football.
School is one of my main priorities, and I strive for academic validation, even though I’m a freshman. I want to attend a 4-year university, preferably the University of Pittsburgh.”
Emma is going to get started immediately and the plan is for her to write one story a week for HSN.
The goal isn’t to stop here, we’d like to add at least a couple more writers, which will allow us to provide even more coverage.
We’re very excited to be able to give Emma this opportunity and we look forward to publishing her content.
Welcome to HSN Emma Majewicz.
